Blossoming back into life
North Gate Park is a beautiful blend of restored traditional architecture and new homes, nestled in the carefully tended gardens that date back to 1920. Seven heritage buildings have been brought back to life and the gardens are bound by the historic wall, restoring as much of the existing materials as possible. In skilfully marrying the historic and the new, we have not only created a community that prioritises sustainability – but also one with unique character and provenance. The features around you have been designed with nature in mind. Our cycle storage incorporates biodiverse habitats. Natural features like logs become a place to rest, play or exercise. Timber planters for growing food are also benches, so you can read your book while breathing in the smell of fresh rosemary. Sustainability is truly present in every detail.
Friendly Bees
Bees are crucial to every ecosystem because they help plants make fruits and vegetables by carrying pollen between the flowers. We have partnered with Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew to create new bee habitats at North Gate Park as well as supporting the Best Trees for Bees project at Wakehurst led by Royal Botanic
Gardens, Kew researchers. Together, we are creating more biodiverse, flourishing habitats in London.
